The Victorino Noval Foundation Helps Ignite the “Spark of Love” Toy Drive and Fundraiser
Victorino Noval and Capt. Ed Sullivan Announce the "Spark of Love" Toy Drive
The Victorino Noval Foundation joins forces again this Holiday Season with the “Spark of Love” Toy Drive and Fundraiser. This holiday tradition, backed by ”The Children’s Trust Fund” of LA, the Los Angeles Fire Department, and ABC Channel 7” was organized 19 years ago when local social workers decided to help LA foster children. Los Angeles hosts the largest population of foster kids in the world, of whom many experience a Christmas morning with no gifts to open.
In 2010 the Victorino Noval Foundation along with the Foundation’s Keynote Speaker Mayor Jimmy Delshad of Beverly Hills joined “The Children’s Trust Fund” of LA, the Los Angeles Fire Department, ABC Channel 7, along with many supporters to help to collect over 500,000 toys. Donations such as new unwrapped toys or sports equipment can also be dropped off at any local fire station. Firefighters from Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernadino and Ventura counties along with Los Angeles City firefighters join in collecting the gifts and assist to distribute them to less fortunate children in the local communities.
